Industry S-05 · Delivery & marketplaces

Dispatch, drivers and money on one ledger.

Run your own drivers with ELTS Delivery Manager, or put orders into the Mishwar marketplace pilot with its own fleet. Either way the order, the driver and the cash sit in the same ledger as the counter, and settlement posts itself.

Fig. 01 — The problems

What breaks at scale in delivery.

01

No honest cost per delivery

Driver hours, fuel and idle time sit in one bucket, so nobody knows whether a long run at peak makes money.

FixEvery run is recorded — pickup, departure and delivery times — and its fee and cost post against the branch or the zone.

02

Dispatch by instinct

A supervisor assigns runs by looking at a map and knowing which driver answers the phone.

FixOne list of waiting orders and free drivers; assign in two taps, with the supervisor able to reassign at any point.

03

Drivers' cash settled from memory

Cash on delivery collected all evening, handed over at midnight, and counted against nothing.

FixEach driver's float and every collection are recorded, and the shift closes with a settlement that shows any difference.

04

Merchant orders disconnected from the merchant's till

A merchant prints a slip from the delivery app and re-types it into their own system, so stock and orders never agree.

FixOn Mishwar, orders for merchants on ELTS land in their ticket stream directly; others print with a reference they can reconcile.

One order, four hand-offs.

  1. 01 · Order Call-Center POS · BranchPOS

Delivery orders arrive from the call centre and the branch tills, in one list.

  3. 03 · Run ELTS Delivery Manager

Pickup, departure and delivery times are recorded for the run.

  4. 04 · Settle ELTS Delivery Manager

Each driver's cash is settled at the end of the shift and posted to ELTS ERP.

  3. 03 · Accept Mishwar

The merchant accepts with a prep estimate, which sets when a driver is needed.

  4. 04 · Ledger ELTS ERP

Order value, commission and delivery fee recorded when the order is created.

  4. 04 · Override Dispatch console

The supervisor can reassign at any point, with the reason recorded.

In practiceA supervisor can always override, with a reason.

  1. 01 · Pickup Driver app

Arrival and collection are stamped; waiting time at the merchant is recorded separately.

  2. 02 · Track Mishwar

The customer sees progress; dispatch sees the runs at risk of running late.

  3. 03 · Drop Driver app

Delivery confirmed with proof; cash collected if it is cash on delivery.

  4. 04 · Cost ELTS ERP

Distance, time and the driver's rate post as the real cost of that run.

In practiceCash on delivery is recorded against the driver.

  1. 01 · Accrue ELTS ERP

Every run accrues the merchant's payout, the commission and the driver's earning as it completes.

  2. 02 · Statement ELTS ERP

Merchant and driver statements per period, itemised by run.

  3. 03 · Pay ELTS ERP

A payout batch for the bank; cash on delivery reconciled against driver floats.

  4. 04 · Dispute Mishwar

Any line traces back to the run, its times and its proof of delivery.

In practiceDisputes settle from the record, not from memory.
